Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. HTMLSnap is currently free while the product is being tested and improved. No credit card needed.

Do I need to log in?

No. There is no login, no signup, and no account required. Just open the page and start editing.

Where is my shared code saved?

Live preview runs in your browser. When you create a short share link, your HTML is saved on this server and shown inside a sandboxed iframe.

Why is there still a long-link fallback?

Short links are used when PHP saving works. If saving fails, HTMLSnap can still fall back to an encoded URL, but very large HTML can hit browser URL-length limits.

Can I download my HTML?

Yes. Click the Download button to save your HTML as a .html file. It works exactly as you wrote it, ready to upload anywhere.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The editor and preview are responsive. You can also test your HTML in desktop, tablet, and mobile viewport sizes.
